Sunday Snapshots

Cedarwood photos

Yesterday was a heavenly day. No rain :)

Just kidding, but the sun shining through gentle breezes felt great after a record-breaking month of rain. Of course we give thanks for the rain too because it has created the most beautiful, lush, green landscape we can remember! Cedarwood's gardens are a vision of spring freshness.

Sunday's wedding of Alycia Waters and Josh Graham was a romantic masterpiece. Alycia added several sensational details to her wedding day color pallet of soft pinks, ivory and meadow green that dazzled us at every turn. So we grabbed our amateur digital camera and took a few snapshots to share while the pros process Alycia and Josh's wedding day photography.

As soon as we get photos from Misti Abner of Expressions by Misti photography, we'll share wedding images of the beautiful bride, her groom and family in a follow-up blog. We learned that Misti is getting married in nine days...Congratulations, Misti!

Alycia and Josh share a private moment before the ceremony. Her gown with a sweeping lace train was stunning. You won't want to miss the detail shots of this dress!

Serving Tennessee vineyard wines and cute bar menus are among my favorite wedding details!

Alycia hand crafted her wedding monogram display, which shifted locations to enhance activities from guest registration, to the cocktail reception, to cake and coffee. The personalized impact of monogram decor is worth the effort!

A stunning fresh flower centerpiece by Cedarwood's master floral designer, Karen Wright, graces the buffet table. We love the blue coiffured ceiling in the front parlor of our historic house.

Romance exudes from these tablescapes. Soft pink linens topped with lace and candles are set off with glass vase garden arrangements of romantic flowers including David Austin roses, hydrangeas, peonies, snapdragons, Queen Anne's lace, spray roses and tulips.

We hope you enjoyed this preview of Alycia and Josh's Cedarwood Sunday wedding. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Graham. Thanks for sharing the beauty of your day with us.
