Did you know that orange is a word in the English language that has nothing to perfectly rhyme with it? Cedarwood's May 24 wedding of Barbara Beauchene and Anthony Tierno was orange unique, because it was orange and because it was delightfully one of a kind.

There's also a beautiful rose called "Orange Unique" and according to rose growers, the orange rose represents desire, enthusiasm and passion. Perfect for Barbara's bouquet and perfect as a marriage symbol for this wonderful couple! Surrounded by their upbeat wedding party and family, Barbara and Anthony made their minds up that nothing could dampen their wedding day enthusiasm. Especially the weather.
Remember the amazing photo in our June 11 blog post of rain pouring on their ceremony site, captured by Titus Bartos of Made in Murfreesboro Photography Studio? The ten minute soaking couldn't shake this couple, and the rain passed so their beautiful garden wedding could go on without a hitch!

The orange and white theme of the wedding actually did grow out of this couple's love story. Barbara and Anthony met while attending the University of Tennessee, affectionately known as Big Orange. Barbara also happens to love the color and her selection of tangerine satin bridesmaids' dresses make such a statement!
The "T" monogram on the cake, however, is for Tierno, not Tennessee!

You probably guessed that Tierno is an Italian name, and just look at this display of home made Italian pastries for the groom's dessert table!
Orange and white decor worked wonderfully. Using all white linens for the reception tables allowed the flowers to show off.

We're a sucker for first dances, and this shot of Barbara and Anthony is so sweet. Later, Barbara gets down to live entertainment by Scott Peterson and The High Life Band. It was a fun party!

We have a few more photos to share from this wedding, so stay tuned!
